I agree that the performance is what matters. But you started this by trashing Shinn for using lyrics taped to the floor but when it was shown to you that Ed does it too, your response is that it was OK because Ed was singing a cover. But isn’t pretty much everything Shinn performed with Live a cover? So he doesn’t get the same grace? Sure, Chris may have made more mistakes than Ed, but who wouldn’t when they’re signing someone else’s songs?

It’s all dumb. I’m just saying your insistence earlier that Shinn was doing a bad job was just your opinion disguised as a fact.

My point is that Chris always came across as covering Live songs and others would argue that he had the spirit and energy so it didn’t matter. It mattered to me and I didn’t enjoy seeing someone cover Ed. So you used a cover song as an example, so proved my point.
