I don't want to be the guy who makes presumptions by connecting dots (but that's what a message board is all about, no?) but ...

It sounds to me, from reading this interview with CS (and what we knew before), that:

1. There is a corporation known as Live: Ed, CT, CG, and PD.
2. The band Live is a part of the corporation.
3. Ed owns a majority stake in the corporation.
4. Ed first fired CT, and now CG and PD, from the band but they each still own a stake of the corporation.
5. Ed tours with the other band members he has hired, but CCP are still financially vested in the corporation.

I don't know if any of that makes sense to anyone else but me. Just a theory.

I believe Ed is the defacto CEO and performer while CT is a minority owner and non-performer. If Shinn is accurate then the same applies to CG and PD.
That's also how it appears now that Live is touring but it's never been stated by anyone the band. I just wish someone would comment on the standing of CG and PD going forward for the die hard fans.

I assume Ed is touring and the others get a percentage cut based on their share of the ownership. It's also possible Ed gets all the money from touring and the others still receive income from recording royalties.
