What's Going On? Is Live Over? Options

If you missed it Ed went on Instagram basically stating that Live never was much of a band, that the reunion wasn't really a "reunion ", and that he's not in anyone's band.

Chad Gracey commented on this on Facebook:
"There is only one source of drama in LIVE. You guys figure it out. And obviously it’s not Ed."

Bill Hynes then replied to Chad "Chad Gracey and that person has small penis Napoleon narcissist syndrome." to which Chad liked with a laugh emoji.

Bill also said this on Facebook in the conversation:

"One thing is certain. Ed don’t need anyone. His talent and song writing ability is his. As it was seen before. He is irreplaceable. Others need him more than he needs them. When the band broke up the first time it was one person and only one persons fault and that person wasn’t Ed. It rhymes with Tad Chaylor."

and Bill in response to Ed's comments:

"That’s actually is NOT what he is saying. He’s saying he isn’t in someone’s band. He’s in HIS band. But someone has an ego and likes to tell everyone that he’s the band and it’s his band and take credit for songs that he didn’t write. So what ED is saying is that HE isn’t in someone else’s band."

There was also a comment about Chad being a successful insurance agent. Chad replied "I do insurance on the side with my partner George. Im also into a few other endeavors."

Quite a flurry of activity after little to no comments on the state of the band for a lengthy period of time.

I haven't posted in 2 years but lurked around to get news about the band and... fucking hell I wasn't expecting this shit show...

If what is being said now is true, then we've been fooled by an amazing narcissist and props to CT for being very good at his manipulative craft.

For those questionning why CG and PD and others accepted it and went along with it, you might not understand how narcissists work. We're not talking about someone who is self-centered. True narcissists are VERY good at getting what they want from whomever they want (and yes that includes you who is reading these lines even if you think you would never fall for it). They are also excellent at building servile minions who will not only willingly be abused but will actually defend their abuser. So, it's completely possible that CG and PD just went along with it at the time and never saw what was really going on.

Which brings me to my other point: narcissists are masters at making the other party look like they're the problem in the eyes of everyone. Which basically means that, whether the true narcissist is Chad or Ed or even maybe both, as outsiders, we will never know because we cannot trust what ANYONE says. Although it looks like this latest development is reality, we will never know. Can we really trust Bill? Or Chad? Or Ed? Who here knows? No one.

When the whole Ed thing happened I was quite mean towards him. I might have been wrong and if so I'm sorry. But that's when I stopped listening to Live altogether because there was an emotional and spiritual side to Live that was erased by all the drama and bullshit. Since then, with everything that has happened, including the very little insight that came out of Chris Shinn, the only thing I see is a band made up of people who are full of shit because it's impossible for us to know who is and who isn't. So that won't change anything for me unfortunately. It's just another layer of shit added. If anything, to me, this band died after The Distance to Here. Even The Turn, which I loved, was tainted after Ed came back and this isn't helping.
