What's Going On? Is Live Over? Options

If you missed it Ed went on Instagram basically stating that Live never was much of a band, that the reunion wasn't really a "reunion ", and that he's not in anyone's band.

Chad Gracey commented on this on Facebook:
"There is only one source of drama in LIVE. You guys figure it out. And obviously it’s not Ed."

Bill Hynes then replied to Chad "Chad Gracey and that person has small penis Napoleon narcissist syndrome." to which Chad liked with a laugh emoji.

Bill also said this on Facebook in the conversation:

"One thing is certain. Ed don’t need anyone. His talent and song writing ability is his. As it was seen before. He is irreplaceable. Others need him more than he needs them. When the band broke up the first time it was one person and only one persons fault and that person wasn’t Ed. It rhymes with Tad Chaylor."

and Bill in response to Ed's comments:

"That’s actually is NOT what he is saying. He’s saying he isn’t in someone’s band. He’s in HIS band. But someone has an ego and likes to tell everyone that he’s the band and it’s his band and take credit for songs that he didn’t write. So what ED is saying is that HE isn’t in someone else’s band."

There was also a comment about Chad being a successful insurance agent. Chad replied "I do insurance on the side with my partner George. Im also into a few other endeavors."

Quite a flurry of activity after little to no comments on the state of the band for a lengthy period of time.

For what it’s worth, I noticed that Ed unfollowed the rest of the band on IG and this is a recent change, perhaps to emphasize that he’s not in anyone’s band.

For him to still be friends with harasser and felon Bill Hynes both surprises and super disappoints me. To quote Bremang, Bill Hynes is the Yoko Ono of Līve!

A friend and I were talking today and he thinks if Līve ever continues, it will be with Loy on guitar.

Ed is super confusing, and has been this whole ordeal. Is he angry at all of them, and why?

Cindy, I take it you have never listened to one Live song, not truly understand the message and meaning behind those songs. If you did, you would be more like Ed who would never judge someone without having all of the facts.
I believe you can ask many Live fans how I have treated them over the years. Many will say very well. Sure, some may say I was an A-Hole and I probably was, but some fans were too entitled and expected things and asked for things that were just beyond what I could do for them.

I’ve been a Līve fan for 30 years.
Every Live item I own or every Live moment I’ve experienced, I can proudly say I’ve acquired or earned it on my own. Don’t need any hand outs from any Live insider nor have I ever asked for or expected anything except for one thing. - During this silence I have asked the band to just be honest with the fans on their status. Oh, maybe two- when they were together post reunion, to not fake it. To give it their honest best or retire. That’s entitlement? Ok. I know many others have asked the same and on the flip side, those who will defend Līve will holler “they don’t owe anyone anything” which is another argument for another day. All this drama behind the scenes truthfully is embarrassing and the band could avoid this if they’d just had made a simple “we’re on hiatus” kind of statement to explain the silence. I’ve been a music fan all of my life and have participated in other forums and there is always, ALWAYS drama on message boards. But never have I seen drama directly from band members or their acquaintances involving the fans. It’s a little embarrassing and just how judgmental or “Ed like” do you think that is? There’s no such thing as a non-judgmental human.

I hear ya. Nobody is perfect. I bet all of them wish they handled everything different.
And to clarify. I had ZERO part of influence in any band matters at all.
I, along with their manager Chris Hardin did help reunite the band back in late 2015 into 2016. But that’s it.
I along with Bob Zazerra went to and Ed solo show in October of 2015 in Bethlehem, Pa. And started the process. He didn’t throw me out of this show.
The show he threw me out of was many years earlier at mount airy when I was with Chris Zalenka. Aka Z Man. And the only reason he threw me out was because I was asking him to talk to the guys. And he said “it’s too soon”. Then he asked me to leave. And I didn’t blame him.

All Bob ever wanted was to be deeply involved with Live. Now he can say he sparked the reunion, and set off a chain of events that led to Taylor banging Gracey's wife.

The “banging” started in 2012. But wasn’t found out until 2021.
Bob has been very good friends with a few members of the band.
Bob bought the ticket and hung back when I was speaking to Ed. He did record some of it lol.
