Surely Iron Maiden must be one of the originators of this trend? Their Trooper Beer has been in British Supermarkets for about a decade now.

And it's not just a novelty to be sold at shows, I can buy Iron Maiden beer at normal supermarket beer prices in any one of about 4 different shops within walking distance. They now have 10 different beers.
