I was surfing Kevin Martin's Twitter page tonight and he linked to this poll back in April that I thought would be fun to discuss the results:

Twitter

Google Translated:

"On today's # Radio2 we put Seattle's rock heavyweights aside and ask you: What is the best post-grunge band for you?"

The final results, with 464 votes:

Candlebox: 51.9% (240 votes)
Bush: 22.4% (103 votes)
Live: 7.8% (36 votes)
Creed: 17.9% (83 votes)

Agree? Disagree? Should Live have ranked so low? Were there any other bands that should have been included?

Post-grunge would be after grunge. All of those bands would have been prevalent during grunge so none of the really qualify for the poll. If you go with his poll timeframe it seems to me that DMB or Metallica would be the largest non-grunge bands from the time period who have stayed the most active and maintained the largest followings since the 90's.

For me, Candlebox and Creed wouldn't have been considered for the poll. Obviously Candlebox would win a poll voted on by people who follow Kevin.
