Chad does not seem like he is appreciative of fans at all, and is in fact annoyed by them. If the band doesn’t want FAKE NEWS spreading, they should actually be a band or make a statement.

Which can be countered with the amount of acts that have cancelled 2021 touring and are also not releasing new music.

The 1975
The band announced Jan. 12 that they were canceling all 2021 shows. Said the band: "These are incredibly difficult times for a lot of people, and until we can be sure that we will be able to play shows in a way that is safe for our fans and crew, we have decided the best course of action is to cancel our touring so that, where possible, everyone can get their tickets refunded sooner rather than later."

Taylor Swift
The pop superstar officially called off her Lover Fest dates on Feb. 26. " I'm so sorry, but I cannot reschedule the shows that we've postponed," she told fans in a statement shared on social media. "This is an unprecedented pandemic that has changed everyone's plans and no one knows what the touring landscape is going to look like in the near future."

Halsey
The popstar officially called off her already postponed Manic World Tour citing COVID-19 as the reason. "Safety is the priority. I wish things were different," she tweeted. The North American leg had been set to kick off in June prior to the tour's cancellation.

Aerosmith
The rock band rescheduled its 2021 European tour to June and July 2022. "Due to current conditions and for the safety of our fans, the 2021 European Tour has been rescheduled to 2022," the band said in a statement.

Roger Waters
Waters' "This Is Not a Drill" tour had been scheduled to kick off in July, but has been postponed due to the pandemic. The tour will now hit the road July 6, 2022, in Pittsburgh, and end Oct. 8 in Dallas.

Rage Against the Machine
RATM postponed their "Public Service Announcement" reunion tour once again on April 8. The tour, with Run the Jewels supporting, will now kick off in March 2022, ending with five nights at NYC's Madison Square Garden in August.
