Chad does not seem like he is appreciative of fans at all, and is in fact annoyed by them. If the band doesn’t want FAKE NEWS spreading, they should actually be a band or make a statement.

Gracey does appreciate the fans. I don't know if you've ever personally met him.

The band doesn't owe anyone a statement in this current environment. The music industry worldwide remains at a virtual standstill.

Could not disagree more. Every band I am currently interested in is touring and/or making music. At the very least, they are making some effort to interact with fans. Live does none of those things.

Chad Gracey will also be appearing live on the app during the auction.

Fans shouldn't have to speculate. The band should be providing material (whether it be tour dates, new music, personal and band social media posts, archival information, concert recordings) so that fans can remain engaged with the band and have something to discuss amongst themselves.

This auction thing is actually pretty cool. Chad Gracey is unloading some stuff he doesn't need anymore and fans have the opportunity to purchase some rare gear. Unfortunately it's turned sour because of outside influences and the sense of negativity that surrounds this band.
