Imagine: only one of the CCP-albums between 2010 en 2014 was made, which one would you choose?
Maybe a stupid discussion, as we got both haha, but just to push everyone to think about which is their favorite. They aren't really comparable as they have two quite different sounding singers plus the genre is not the same: classic rock (kind of a Led Zeppelin throwback feel) vs modern rock with bigh LIVE influences (tho not exactly LIVE to me). But the fact they are both made during the hiatus and both are made by CCP as the driving force, I think it's nice to compare them anyway.

Once upon a time you could find most popular music in big box retail stores. Of all the criticisms you could levy against Local 717, this is hardly one it deserves.

Not meant to be a criticism as much as an observation. Alive and TGF were not widely expected or popular albums yet a Best Buy with a very limited CD selection had both. The cd selection at Best Buy isn’t all that much smaller these days but I doubt you’d find any Live related music there.

I beg to differ, there really isn’t an active music selection in-store at Best Buy. In 2018 they announced an initiative to stop selling cds at the store. So on the odd chance you come across a cd, a mid-popularity group isn’t going to be in sight. Let’s face it, T-Swift and many other pop and country acts are more readily out there.

My two sense.
