Predictions for Trump Presidency, I'm sure this will be civil Options

This post is mostly targeted at Americans, but anyone can play. We have an opportunity to make predictions for what changes America will go through under a Drumpf presidency.

I assume we'll all laugh about our awful predictions in 2020. How do you see this all playing out?

The fact that the electoral college is still in place in American politics is amazing. It is an outdated system that deters some people from voting. The fact that it has put two people into the presidency within the past 20 years with a minority vote shows what a broken system it is.

I’d say it’s more a sign of how hard it is to change the system in America. Think about this, you could change immigration laws with a simple act of Congress and a presidential signature. Yet both Bush and Obama failed when they controlled majorities. Now you have the electoral college which would require a constitutional amendment. Good luck!

At the same time if being president just requires the most votes you’d likely see a lot more than just 2 candidates running and there would be almost no chance of anyone getting a majority. Most likely you’d have 3 to 5 candidates with the winner pulling in 35-40%. Sure they US could switch to a parliamentary system but you can argue that the Republicans and Democrats are basically just large coalitions of different groups as it is now and not much would really change.
