Quarantine Stream Options

Quarantine sucks without Līve.

My hope with this thread, is to bounce around some ideas Līve could do for a “Quarantine Stream,” as many artists are currently doing right now. What could they do to break the monotony, and give fans something to look forward to? Be specific, the possibilities are endless and are not just tied to tiny desk concerts. Maybe they will see it, and grant a wish. (Yes, you might notice I’m being a little facetious here, but I’m a little bored).

I’ll start... for a quarantine stream, I’d like to see Ed perform an acoustic 10,000 Years. I’d also like to see PAT (when is the last time any of us heard him talk?!) show us his vinyl collection (I just know he has to have one!).

My faith in Ed dropped significally at that TV show appearance (was it Letterman?) where he lied about the writing of Overcome. Complete.non-sense.

As for Shinn as a singer, well I liked him, alot, but let's not be blind here. His job was to know these damn lyrics. He blew off TBD at the AC show and that was awkward, I was uncomfortable in the first rows. Some of the performances were meh, but at least it was raw. Ed can't do TDAOC, operation Spirit and maybe a couple of others like Shinn was doing. POD saved that AC show, but there was 2 other backvocalists to help. Setlist was mixed up more. They were trying a bit, whuch they don't do now.

It at least made them regroup (be with Shinn) and be all at the studio at the same time. And it worked. The turn is a solid rock album,.and even if I'm really critical about the lack of guitar skills of CT, well there's soul on that album and we can hear it. There's not that in the EP, even if Loys brings more skills. It fell short. So the way they treated the reunion added to the complete absence of recognition of Shinn's contribution is totally well, egicentric from Ed's or Live's perspective. And disgraceful for the ones who go through that era. Shinn expressed hia point of view at least, Live just shovel the question away.
