If you didn't catch the news STP just cancelled their entire 15 show acoustic tour which was supposed to start next month. Jeff Gutt, the current lead singer, has a "severely herniated disc". According to the article “Doctors have advised immediate surgery, along with several weeks of recovery time and physical therapy,” the band’s reps said in a statement.

This tour was their lead up to the Australian tour with Live and Bush scheduled to start on April 3rd. Might be something to keep an eye on.

"The 15-date tour was set to begin February 5th in Vancouver, British Columbia. Refunds are available at point of purchase. Stone Temple Pilots’ subsequent two tours — an Australian trek with Bush and Live and a North American summer jaunt opening for Nickelback — remain on schedule."

So far it seems okay.

So far, but back issues can be rough.

Might not be a bad thing. One less band would mean longer sets for Live. Alternatively, get Candlebox on the tour!

Candlebox is actually headlining in my city February 23rd. I’m pretty sure their tour goes through May.

I’d rather had Candlebox and Live touring together. With this billing, Live would have been the headliner, in my opinion. Also they (Candlebox) are playing a in a theater here with capacity of 1,500. -I’d MUCH rather see Live in this size of venue... with a much longer set.

Since STP are touring with Nickelback in the states (if all goes well), then who is Live going to go out with this summer??
