I just downloaded the jam that they came up with on stage at the Copenhagen show the other night and am listening to it for the first time now. I don't know if anybody else agrees with me but if somebody told me that this was a B-side from the Throwing Copper era I think I would have believed them.

I know obviously it's not and I'm sure a little bit of work went into it before they played it on stage but just the song in general seems to take me back to TC days. I think it sounds great and is a reflection of what type of music they can make when the entire band jams and puts together a song as a group instead of Ed writing songs and then each member laying down their part at a later date. I'm not saying everything was done like this but from what I've heard the more recent efforts have been down more on an individual basis then in the past.

While I still enjoy their later albums I think there is something to be said for songs that come that come together through the creative spirit of the entire group together. Maybe this is just me reminiscing but I'm really digging this song and think it would be great with a little more work.
