CT’s solos are and always have been hilariously bad. Why don’t they have Ed’s boy toy Loy play them?

I think that it's the main grip (apart Ed's ego at times) that I have with that band. When they made the guitar shift during TC era, you have to do the best possible to improve in what you do. I understand he's good at tones and sounds, SS sounds great but at times as a guitar driven band you need to show it in your skills. It's not a need to know your scales or everything, but rehearse and do something that will at least sound nice. CT has failed with that for through almost all their history. Lazyness? Don't know, but like you said, now they at least have a guitarist true for that word, so use it. They let him shine on Distance and Shit towne, but use him more, so the songs can be better, because CT's solos are not making any Live song better (except maybe Turn my head, which he does OK).
