weird question for the message board - has anyone heard or used a Live lyric in a best man speech/toast for a wedding?

Before the V leak, Live posted 6 clips on their official website. They were 2 minute preview versions of various songs off V. I remember disliking all of them. When V leaked, my disappointment was confirmed. It wasn't until after SFBM came out that I found myself in an altered state one evening and was able to go back and appreciate V and enjoy it for what it was. Great production, good electronic arrangements, and Ed's 90's voice was officially shot.

Yes! I agree about his voice here. The “Iiiiii” at the beginning of We Walk In The Dream is like nails on a chalkboard. TDTH was the beginning of the end. Less than half of the album is pristine, the other half is where “solo-Ed” started rearing his ugly songs:

We Walk In The Dream
Dance With You

To go from 3 straight albums where I skip no songs, to skipping over 8, was really shocking for me at that time. I actually only recently started liking They Stood Up For Love. I used to skip that one, too. It only took 20 years to grow on me.

I know some people really loved the entirety of this album, and I never understood why.
