The concert in Wichita will be the live stream. Hopefully it stays on YouTube after it airs. Can't catch it Friday.

I wouldn't be surprised if the setlist was cut short due Ed's voice being especially worn out that night. I also think Live are promoting their tour only. They probably get paid in concert ticket sales, and they probably hardly make money with the TC anniversary. So they just go by the metrics and play the fan favorite concert songs, because the casual alt rock fan is their bread and butter. They have a new merch clothing line and a new limited beer release. Things seem to be done right from a promotional angle if the goal is to make money.

I get most of what you are saying. However, I will never wrap my head around why they won’t add/or promote the new release Hold Me Up on the setlist. First leg of the tour, okay. But the second leg of the tour, after the release of TC25 and it as a single... super dumb move to not add it in. You mention they go by the metrics, and play fan favorite concert songs. Well, that’s true in part. They sorta have to. But a casual fan wouldn’t know The Distance (and they played it at the show I saw last week). Take The Rolling Stones cover out, and perform Hold Me Up & tout it as your new single. Worst thing can happen is it causes people to want to buy it! A casual fan actually asked me last week why the two covers, as he was wanting to hear PLOTR.
