Regarding the setlist, have they already totally dropped material from the EP, or has that just been a thing for their European dates?

Material from Local 717 hasn't been played since Feb 2019.

Not only did they not play anything from L717, they didn't even mention it. Not that I'm complaining - but that's quite extraordinary imo.

In terms of the setlist I told my bro before that LIVE tend to play a straight bat and that's what we got. And while I'd exchange the covers, fine as they were, for deeper cuts, Hold Me Up or maybe something off MJ, I can't complain at a set that was pretty much wall to wall bangers for a band that hasn't played London with Ed for what, a decade or so?

It was better than when I saw them then, not long before the split. Hanging around here you'd think the band are a bit of a meme nowadays and I was weirdly curious about the show, almost expecting them to be phoning it in. But they were focused and on point all evening and it was a blast.

Hope further material - if it comes - can excite me as much. But if not, ah well. For an hour and a half every ten years, the classics are enough

Thanks for the review and that's a good way to look at it. Definitely not a band that I would travel city to city for but maybe one day I'll check them out again.
