3. Ed, 1992-2000. Present Day Ed would not make the Top 5.

Guitarists:
1. Joe Bonamassa (Black Country Communion, but he's one of the best blues guitarists today.)
2. Mark Knopfler (Dire Straits era)
3. Chad Taylor (Lakini's Juice. Period.)
4. John Petrucci (Dream Theater. "Lines in the Sand" forever cemented him in my top 5)
5. Stone Gossard (his early Pearl Jam works are amazing)

Bassists:
1. John Myung (Dream Theater)
2. Glenn Hughes (Black Country Communion, but also Deep Purple)
