Your Desires For Next Year (2019), Wish Away Here... Options

Okay, I’m kind of bored. Let’s get some discussion going. What are your hopes and desires in 2019 from Līve? What do you want and wish for when it comes to the anniversary release of Throwing Copper? What is the ideal touring situation for you? -And do you want a varied setlist or would you rather them play Throwing Cooper in its entirety? Do you still want Robin Diaz? Zak Loy? Meet and Greets?

If you were in charge... the Līve world is your oyster (but realistically speaking)... Go!

For what it’s worth, and I swear this is not meant to be about Ed or battles between fans that have occured over the years - but I saw The Gracious Few 4 or 5 times, and they really blew the roof off the place and every show was unique. They headlined shows in small venues. There was actually stage diving and long guitar solos. They added the acoustic front porch session in the middle of a few of the shows. They gave away T shirts and autographed posters. I even recall they sent out free T shirts for some sort of online mistake (I forget exactly what that was about). Chad Taylor made heart-felt speeches. Who could forget Chad Taylor severing his quadricep in the middle of the show and finishing the song rolling around on the ground and then posting the bad ass video follow-up with the quote “It’s called rock n roll. Look it up!” They introduced new songs. They were having fun and being artists and that authenticity came through so loud and clear that it was brilliant.

How about not being afraid to offend anybody and rip out Peace Is Now (10,000) Years and Mother Earth Earth is a Vicious Crowd and try and create some change in this world. Talk about poets and preachers and politicians in a way that’s real and demand change. Nobody made music about what is needed most now better than Live in the 90’s!

Even though I did not closely follow Gracious Few, I do remember when Chad hurt himself & did that. It was a bad ass rock star move.

Often I wonder what Līve are scared of. As I mentioned above, they have some ruthless, harsh fans who oddly seem to love to see them fail. Crazy as it sounds, sometimes I wonder if those fans are what they are scared of.
