I got most of the show on my iPhone. Being an outdoor, open air venue, the sound is so-so. We had lawn seats, probably left-center of the stage (in between the stacks). Anyways, I’ve just acquired a new free program called Audacity (where I can cut, distort, change bass and treb, etc.) and I plan to convert the stuff to audio and “remaster it”. If people want, I’ll share a mediafire link when it’s done. hi.gif

I’m aware it’s not new, but more-so new to me. It’s amazing what you can do with that program. Especially, the cutting up of original sound files. I came across it earlier this summer and it’s been an addictive tool.

As an aside, I filmed in the really bass-heavy United Center (Chicago) at a Smashing Pumpkins show in August ... and the original audio suffered from the blurry bass and muddied loudness. After I tweaked, it was amazing how clear of a listen it became. I was able to bury the bass, alter treb and raise the volume to bring the singing and drumming forward.

If no one wants this, it’s cool too. Just throwing it out there.

Definitely put a new recording out there!
