I cannot even begin to understand why they choose to spend 10 minutes doing that versus playing another new song and a deep track. Totally inexplicable.

.... and then follow it up with 2 solo acoustic solo songs in the encore.

I thought Ed said in an earlier interview that if they really pressed they could get 16 songs in.

As a paying customer going to see a 70 minute set I'd rather see no extended jams, no going off stage to set up an encore and no solo acoustic songs.

Cram in as many full band songs as possible!
