Since the songs name-dropped are Ed-friendly, would seem like he’s picking what would keep Ed happy.

You would think that they would all collaborate on the set list in the end.

Heaven and The Distance come to mind. Always seemed like Ed favorites to me. Run to the Water too.

Heaven and Run to the Water also happen to statistically be fan favorites. Chad's definitely looking to capitalize.

For me, Heaven was the beginning of the end of Live. Poor choice for a single and was Ed's song all the way.

Funny when they say that they won't play a song because it's been a long time. Isn't that what the new studio and rehearsals are for? Let's play the hits...no practice required.

CG also said it only takes a couple tries to figure out the song again.
