I was just relistineng to Death of a Dictionary, and I'll be damned, that is like the poppiest CD I have ever heard! With the possible exception of Good Pain, those are all pop songs. So maybe SFBM is not s departure from Live's previous material, but rather a return to their poppy roots?

Discuss amongst yourselves.

I agree but I spoke about this in another thread and no-one could see where I was coming from.

After a gazillion listens to SFBM in the last few days, I have to say I can't believe anyone would be complaining about this CD. Its no more poppie than Throwing Copper was. Show has that same angst that many older Live songs portrayed so well. True, it doesn't have a White Discussion, but it does have some pretty had moments within each song. At first, I was thinking this CD was some new direction for Live, but its the same great stuff they have always done. Besides, a song might sound "commercial" but unless it actually is commercial than its still alternative rock.
