I just bought a ticket to their after show in Chicago at Park West. A pretty small place and still not sold out. I'm surprised. Have people just forgotten about Live. Classic band, but ticket sales look poor

I believe in my heart that, no, people have not forgotten about Live. Live has just went about things the past 6 months all wrong. They do something to build momentum and then let that excitement die out because they go silent for a couple of weeks. Following this band is a roller coaster ride. You get excited for a climb to the top and then down the hill and it's over, like that. They should have started touring headlining shows shortly after their NYE gig. If they would have teamed up with another 90's giant (Alanis Morrissette opening for instance), they could have gotten a huge ball rolling. But instead after the NYE gig, they chose to wait 4 months before their first festival appearance. Their new song should already be out for fans to hear before whenever they decide to play it at a festival. Heck, they could have had two or three new songs already out for fans to be excited over and rocking out to. They need a huge "something" like an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel or something. I'm sure any late night show would be happy to have a reunited Live on air. It thinking it just takes a couple phone calls and some dough. They just go about promoting themselves all wrong. sad.gif

Yes, I am one who disagrees with you entirely!

Live have a plan and are implementing it. Having known them, their management, and working with them in previous years, I am confident that they are doing the right thing.

With no disrespect meant, your posts about how they should promote and market themselves read as coming directly from a fan perspective and not at all from someone within the music industry or music business marketing.
