New details have emerged in a leaked police report.
http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/chr...s-death-w483238

His family is saying that there is no way he would have intentionally committed suicide. The problem I have is, the timeline. He probably left the stage around 10:30 p.m./11 p.m. and was dead by 12:15? If he took too much Ativan, would it have affected him that much, that quickly (to the point where he is unaware of what he is doing)? His body guard was even with him for some of that last hour. And what about that strange hashtag on his last tweet: #nomorebullshit ? Some people are assuming it was a sign. "No More Bullshit" is this song by Camper Van Beethoven:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lOr_ecgm_AA with lyrics: "No more bullshit, no more MTV, no more rock starts, no more bullshit. Elvis Presley died and no-one knows why."

It's all too weird.

I don't know enough about these medications to say Ativan is the same as this but I know there are some that give takers a nonsensical sense of wanting to take their own lives even if they have never had such tendancies before. My ex took a quit smoking drug for a couple of weeks and when he stopped he told me that it was giving him sucidial thoughts along with the urge to kill others (myself and our kids). I would NEVER have thought in a million years that it was giving him these thoughts. He was in fact incredibly calm and easy going the whole two weeks he was on it. It wasn't just within an hour or whatever of taking it. He said it was in his head within days of starting the drug and only went after a couple of days of taking it. He also didn't have any history of mental health issues.

Sounds like Wellbutrin (bupropion), that shit is given to people who want to quit smoking but it's actually an anti-depressant and can fuck with people's heads. Even nicotine patches can cause "vivid night terrors" as the labelling describes it, and that's a pretty accurate description from personal experience.

Years ago I took large doses of Effexor and Avanza as a trial to treat ADHD and I would go to bed hearing voices of people I actually knew. I told the doc to shove it so he eventually prescribed me dexamphetamine, which made me paranoid as fuck, so now I stay away from meds. Smoking and drinking not included.

Just looked it up. It's marketed as Champix.

Love how they say the serious side effects are very rare. We talked about it with others that had used it and all of them except one said they had serious thoughts of suicide and other things fucking with their heads.
