I was just relistineng to Death of a Dictionary, and I'll be damned, that is like the poppiest CD I have ever heard! With the possible exception of Good Pain, those are all pop songs. So maybe SFBM is not s departure from Live's previous material, but rather a return to their poppy roots?

Discuss amongst yourselves.

Interesting theory...

In my opinion, DOAD is a bit more "raw" than SFBM, but most, if not all, of that's obviously due to 1) their age at the time (esp. Ed's voice), and 2) their production resources at the time.

DAOD is, however, indeed poppy, and if it were re-recorded today and polished up a bit, it would definitely be more poppy than SFBM
