Everytime I'm at a music store, garage sale, flea market, etc, and there's a pile of CDs or records, I can't help but browse through with the slightest hope of finding a Live rarity. The best I've ever seen was a vinyl of Four Songs, but it was selling at basically the same price they sell for on eBay.

Have any of you ever had a noteworthy Live find in a physical location?

I found Chad Gracey watching an opening act during their concert when Live was headlining in 1997 at Polaris Ampitheater in Columbus OH. He was standing in the walkway between the first and second level in the seating area, surrounded by a couple security guard actually. I am the only one in the crowd who noticed him. I went over to him and he signed my Live shirt and he was real cool and chill.

There was also the time I "found" that the new manager of my store had an original DOAD cassette, which I borrowed and had burned to CD from the original. This was like 1995 or 1996, had to use a service to do it, and I actually stayed in the shop while it was done to make sure nothing happened to it. Me and the owner of the local music shop hanging out, listening to it straight through while it was converted. After we were done, he asked if I'd mind him burning his own copy, which he could've done after I left without asking, and of course I agreed.

He didn't charge me for the work, just $5 for the blank CD.
