What to expect from +Live+..., now that Ed is back Options

I think the first thing might be SS related, but i'm up for anything as i'm sure most fans are. Have at it, what do you think!?

some timeline for you wondering dreamers

the lines of communication opened up with Ed back in Late Summer of 2015, as October approached, much more communication was happening between Ed, Chris Hardin and members of Live's inner circle. Ed and Chad and others began text messaging more as the fall of 2015 approached.

In the past, there were some attempts in 2013 at reconciliation with Ed but that wasn't happening or coming to fruition. Wounds still fresh, contracts signed with Shinn, Summerland 2013, etc.

On the current state with Chris, they had several concerts planned in the fall of 2015, internally it was decided to end the band with Shinn and go into an unannounced hiatus period. This was decided before the Australia shows were played with Live supporting Def Leppard (contractually binding) The Aussie shows were the last shows officially with Chris, although unspoken.

During the winter months of 2016, The boys began getting together in York after initial meetings with CT and their inner circle (this was post Australia tour I believe). When all of them got together; They went to their old places of hang out, rehearsal and where they grew up together. They began the healing before playing music. When they started practicing the old songs, they felt into the groove again and felt the old feelings of when they started.

In May of 2016, Kevin Martin of CB let it slip on stage at a show in Bethlehem PA as he gave thanks to the guys in Live (some in attendance) about them recording CB's new record at Think Loud Studios, in the thanks he included Ed.

During the winter (Jan/Feb), they began working on new songs together, all contributing actual songs, lyrics and musical progressions. Those songs are diverse and different, with old Live sound, and some new Live sound. But most certainly has the 'hook you' in LIVE feel. The work on them continues to the current. Could be an EP, a single release this year, or album release next year, no firm decision, but as Live goes it will be done the way they decide as a band, usually in conflict of how others think they should do things

So as fans come together, or pull apart, some will stay and some will go for their own personal reasons. Have some hope that the music will speak to you in some way in these crazy times.

Awesome, can't wait, and feel free to post more. Very insightful stuff that all of us +Live+ fans want to hear.

**Also, isn't Grand Falloons where Ed used to "bust suds" (wash dishes) back in the day?
