I just noticed that Bush are releasing a new album in March called Black and White Rainbows. I never ended up buying their most recent album Man on the Run, but the release prior, Sea of Memories, was a decent album.

What struck me as odd is the album is being released under the moniker 'Bush with Gavin Rossdale' despite him having fronted the band since it's beginning. In my mind, at least since Nigel left, when i think of Bush, I think of Gavin Rossdale. The new moniker seems a bit redundant, and makes him look like an egotist. On the subject of egotists, I'm greatly looking foward to the upcoming release from 'Live with Ed Kowalczyk'.

Thanks for posting this, I've been expecting a new Bush album for a while but this was the first news I heard of it. Sea of Memories was a really good album, one of my overall favorites in recent years. Man on the Run was good, but could have been better. But it was still worth the purchase price.

Where did you see that the new album was marketed as Bush with Gavin Rossdale? I did a few quick Google searches but everything I saw said simply Bush.

On the subject of Bush, and since this is a Live board, I feel like current Bush is what Live should set as their current benchmark for success. Bush isn't headlining world tours, but for a 90's band they're playing alot of shows where they are either the only act or their the main draw. And if Wikipedia is to believed, one of their songs from Sea of Memories topped the independent singles chart. Not sure how big of an accomplishment that is, but if Live can say the same things 2 years from now I will be more than happy with their "status".
