I like SFBM a lot.

To each their own.

The guy doesn't say the word but it's basically what he means.

Then later the woman says it sort of a tiny bit tongue in cheek but mostly not. If Chad were there I'd be disappointed in him if he didn't correct her. But for Ed... eh... he just kind of awkwardly lets it go by which I think is sort of understandable in his case.

It's lame. I mean, I understand that they can never acknowledge it when interviewing any current Live member and especially Ed, but the latter day Live albums and Ed's solo stuff is garbage whilst The Turn is a belting record worthy of the band's name. Whatever you think of there being a different singer, that's just how it is imo.

So people can keep ragging on Chris all they want, but let's just see how the new music turns out cos ultimately that's all that matters. Fan boy over Ed's return if you want, but if the music's shit then massive lols.

Exactly. Ed should just acknowledge his work. He can be uncomfortable answering questions about that era, but they can't avoid it indefinitely. What would be so bad about saying that the Turn was a good record anyway?. We grow by complementing others and with team work, not by burying anything in the soil like what happens to The turn. I think by hiding it it puts even more pressure on them to produce a better record than this, and that will need work.

How can you be sure that Ed thought it was a good album? Better to be ignored.

Better to just man the fuck up and acknowledge it if it's brought up. Whether Ed likes it or not is irrelevant, fact is, it exists. I'd almost respect Ed more if he was like "yeah the guys did an album with Chris fronting the band, I wasn't a huge fan of it but it is what it is" and there you go...it's been acknowledged and it's genuine without being rude or being disengenuous if he really didn't like it.
Honestly the fact Live have to pretend it didn't happen just for the sake of Ed can't handle it is both hilarious and pathetic. Grown men pretending history/reality didn't exist because of reasons lol. Hynes was in here before taking about Chris not having balls...think that applies far more to ECCP
