Ed never stole from his bandmates, according to a source close to the band Options

Someone told me that on a Live FB group, CCP's long time business associate just said that it is FACT that Ed NEVER stole from his bandmates. Very nice to be able to finally put all that drama to rest.

Why is that bad news? I thought it was pretty well known that Shinn's contribution was mainly on 6310. Maybe I just dreamed that up.

Anyway... Why all the arguing here (again)?? Bill is a business man. CCP are business men. I am too. I want to make money. Doesn't mean that I have to, or need to. And it sure isn't anyone's business outside of my wife and I. Seems that these guys should be in the same boat; Ed included.

Who the hell are "we" to judge these guys on their motivations. I like their music. I don't care why they want to get together and play it. Bring it!!! I'm excited!!

I think the issue is CCP/Bill/AND OTHERS went on and on and on and on and on and on and on about how shitty of a friend, person, artist, etc Ed is. This went on for YEARS. It completely split the fan base as we know.

And suddenly they are back together and the very people who spent those YEARS telling us that Ed is the worst person on the planet are now telling us "Naaaaaah it is okay, jump back on the bandwagon! Live in the future! All is good!"

And they are doing this WITHOUT any kind of explanation. They just expect us to go "OH! OK! YAY SOMEONE WHO KNOWS THE BAND TOLD ME TO DO THIS! WHERE IS THE MERCH TABLE GUYS?!?!?!"

And when some of us here didn't immediately bend a knee Bill immediately went into Bill Hynes mode and started calling people "shit bags".

All fans want to know is WHAT HAPPENED. Like, just tell us. Fans are forgiving. Look at any major sport. Kobe Bryant raped a girl but scores 35 a game so he is a hero and a Hall of Famer.

If Live just came out and just TOLD US what is up, then released Hold Me Up, then we would all be on board and loving it.

Instead they treat fans like plebs.
