Someone told me that on a Live FB group, CCP's long time business associate just said that it is FACT that Ed NEVER stole from his bandmates. Very nice to be able to finally put all that drama to rest.

Note: This thread was not created by SJN1279. It was split from the NYE Party At Think Loud Entertainment thread.

QUOTE(jclive @ Dec 10 2016, 2:28 pm) *

Why is that bad news? I thought it was pretty well known that Shinn's contribution was mainly on 6310. Maybe I just dreamed that up.

Anyway... Why all the arguing here (again)?? Bill is a business man. CCP are business men. I am too. I want to make money. Doesn't mean that I have to, or need to. And it sure isn't anyone's business outside of my wife and I. Seems that these guys should be in the same boat; Ed included.

Who the hell are "we" to judge these guys on their motivations. I like their music. I don't care why they want to get together and play it. Bring it!!! I'm excited!!

I'm guessing because their business is engaging intimately with the public through music and the like. It's silly saying the public shouldn't have any vested interest. Should businesses not listen to their customers?

I think it is just total audacity for them to try and rewrite the past to better suit their future business needs and expect no one to question it, after they flaunted it so publicly before. I'm glad people aren't just meekly rolling over and accepting any old bullshit. Yes they're businessmen first and foremost but that doesn't give them immunity from people commenting on that side of things. "We" judge their motivators because we can. We are the consumer, so to speak. At the end of the day they want "our" money, so damn right we should question and judge the source of where money is going to. That's if you want to look at it through business eyes.
