Someone told me that on a Live FB group, CCP's long time business associate just said that it is FACT that Ed NEVER stole from his bandmates. Very nice to be able to finally put all that drama to rest.

Note: This thread was not created by SJN1279. It was split from the NYE Party At Think Loud Entertainment thread.

QUOTE(Voodoo Lady @ Dec 8 2016, 10:17 pm) *

You are just going to love me for this (sarcasm!) because, sorry!... I can't help ya much with this. First, this shouldn't be a shocker; I've never been an "Ed leaning fan." I just did not hate on him like some of y'all. I never effin' cared that he supposedly asked for a lead singer bonus, etc. shrug.gif No, I did not like who he became musically from the album V on, didn't like his solo stuff, thought his coffee etc. was gimmicky... yada, yada. But I don't take it personally as some of you seem to. no.gif I've never kissed Ed's butt, CCP's butts, Chris Shinn's butt... There's not enough Chap Stick for that. As others here have eloquently stated today, what happened between ECCP years ago is none of my business

I was saddened when Live broke up, sure. It absolutely hurt my heart. I'd loved them since the BEGINNING. But I refused to take sides as to who's fault it was because I wasn't there, don't know them personally, and cliche as it may be, there are two sides to every story. Also, each person's perception is their reality.

The arguing going on about it in this thread is just beating a dead horse. It's silly. We should all be excited that Ed, Chad, Chad, and Pat have forgiven and have moved on. Y'all should too. Stop over
analyzing. It's just music. music.gif I love music as much as all of you. I'm realizing maybe more.

I don't agree with Voodoo Lady very often, but honestly, the personal/business disputes between the band members don't impact my enjoyment of the music at all. Or, the only impact they had was the breakup of the band. Whether not the fans get over it is irrelevant if the band is over it. It's actually kind of retarded that fans are so opinionated and offended by it whereas the band no longer cares.
