Hi Folks,

I've been a member of this site for a long time but I usually just browse and never log in. I've been a fan of LIVE for a fairly long time (probably 15-16 years now) and I'm personally excited to see this reunion, although I also like Chris Shinn and to me The Turn was a great album.

I'm glad the boys could patch things up and most importantly become friends again. You have to remember these guys grew up together since elementary and to fall apart like they did was awful. Forget about them in terms of the band, it was the friendship that I think is most important, so I'm happy to see them work things out, because honestly life is way too short to live with hate.

I've read a lot on here about people not liking certain albums, certain songs, certain members, but at the end of the day just because you are a fan of LIVE I don't think you have to like everything they put out, I'm certainly not a fan of everything they created, but I'm still a fan! Music affects everyone differently, there's some music I like and some I don't, but I respect artists and musicians who put their heart and soul behind their work, no matter what kind of genre they do. If you've ever picked up an instrument of any kind, you'll know that to create a song isn't easy, but when you do, its something to be proud of, even if others might not like it.

I honestly hope that if they do continue to make music (because I guess its not 100% certain at this point, lets wait on that countdown) that they make it for themselves, not for everyone else. If you craft it for yourself, I find its more honest and you actually end up with a better product. If people connect with it, then bonus!

On another note, I wish they kept the "www.friendsoflive.com" name, it seemed more fitting to me than freaksoflive, even though I get where it comes from. And I know you can still type in friendsoflive and it re-directs but its just not the same to me.

Anyways, enough of my two cents, thanks for keeping this board/forum alive everyone and here's to hoping we're all in for something refreshing and exciting in the next chapter of LIVE!
