Found this article, dated 11/22:

Chris Shinn Responds to Ed Kowalczyk Replacing Him In Live

Hardly much of a response and author insinuates there might be "bad blood." I don't get that vibe from his post, but interested in what you all think.

It's not the first time that Chris has used that hashtag.

Here's an earlier occurance from September 2016.

Although September is when we we all started to suspect something was happening. In fact, I think some of the first hints date before that. Obviously, Shinn would have had knowledge he was being replaced before us and probably before the ominous signs on Live's social media pages (prior to them going black).

I think it is safe to infer the hashtag is about his spot in Live. I wouldn't expect it to have been a totally amicable break and I'm sure Shinn isn't thrilled about losing a potential source of income. But, all in all, it doesn't seem too acrimonious and, even if it is, kudos to him for not airing it out in the open.

Agree with this. There is never a mutual breakup, one side always gets let down, and in this case it's probably Shinn. Think about it, what if you were putting all this work into a relationship with someone, and then they left to go back with their ex. Even if they are better off with their ex, and you want them to be happy, chances are you're still a little bitter.

I wish the best to Shinn, he has a great voice and will find another band to land with pretty easily I imagine.
