I know that many of us would like to see Live get back together in some form, but I'm curious as to why some of us don't. Seeing all sides of the issue is always a good thing, and it would be interesting to see the responses.

I don't post here often but wanted to share my thoughts on this as well...Like Voodoo Lady--trying to keep an open mind/see both sides. I for one (as someone who's never seen them in concert) would be 100% down for any type of 'reunion' for many reasons, but simply/mostly to connect to the music and the energy from the band and to have the experience to share that energy/appreciation back to them--with the version of LIVE that I grew up with/fell in love with.

I think it's easy at times to fall into the mind set of 'it will never be the same'.....well of course it won't. We are all getting older/growing/changing etc. which hopefully is a good thing! Why can't you have both the appreciation/respect of the past and also look forward? I find it extremely unfair to put bands/artists in that box of only looking at their past work and not having an open mind to future possibilities. Plenty of bands/artists that exploded in the 90's are still out there making great music/touring/staying true to their foundation (Pearl Jam is my favorite band next to LIVE and they are still killing it--all in their 50's I might add).

In the end, the beautiful thing about music (LIVE specifically) is it's ability to unite people. We all fell in love with the band for one reason or another and take what we get from it on an individual/personal level. For me, I have plenty of friends and know others that are still into LIVE and I'm sure would absolutely go see them. In my opinion, I think that people want bands/artists to speak up and use their voice/creativity to mean something, to stand for something greater than themselves, to unite and try to make some kind of difference--these are things LIVE has been about from the very beginning.

Whether this happens or not, I'll always be a fan and will want the best for all of them. We'll see what happens....
