The band was interviewed and then performed an acoustic version of Lightning Crashes.

He was trying to read the lyric-sheet at his feet...which confused him.
The album bombed and this was truly embarrassing.

Maybe the time has come to patch things up with Ed, as they are becoming more of a novelty-act by the minute. It's annoying to see that they're almost ignoring the fact that the songs they're STILL playing, were written by the person that they are desperately trying to erase from the history books.
A re-recording of Mental Jewelry will probably be a new low for them.

Just drop that karaoke-singer, get your old friend back and write the most raw, gutsy, therapeutic album you ever made!

God what has this band become? :'(
