Football, The Real One, not the "american" one Options

Why did the US give their sport the name of a game that already existed from the early 1800's in England. Why not name it something else instead of switching names, calling their new game "football" while calling the old game "soccer" and confusing the world. FIFA which was founded in 1904 means ( in English ) International Federation of Football Association, not and damn soccer federation. Its funny how the US just calls it World Cup and not the full name Wold Cup Football. Haha

Oh, and don't get me started on that alleged "World Series"
When did America become the world. Surely that's an insult to the rest of the countries that exist in our universe. Haha

Soccer,please!! How can that game be treated seriously when they go to the ground every 5 seconds holding there knee in agony when they weren't even touched,then 10 seconds later there up sprinting for the ball. It's a blight on the game. Apart from that it's snore time. No wonder they have so many riots,cos the game is so boring!!! The only good part is when a goal is kicked(if a goal is kicked) and the crowd go spastic. Apart from that its a snooze fest. The world game huh,it's a dumb world....

i must say i quite like the aussie attitude here. they used to show the AFL a lot on espn around here, but i never see it anymore. i never really understood it, but i enjoyed the heavy contact. great game, someone should start it up in the US.

It's a great game but I can see how it is confusing to people who don't grow up with it. America does have some teams when they play other international teams. But it's not very big obviously.

I like the pace of the game .. soccer is just back and forth and stalling and just nothing happens, I do appreciate the skill but come on .. the best thing about soccer is the crowd's chanting.
American Football I just struggle with as well, start, stop, start, stop, start, stop .. god. And they don't really use their feet all that much for it too be "football" .. but my Dad absolutely loves it .. he goes for Denver

They are in a group with Paraguay, England and Sweden......they don't stand a chance. Maybe a 0-0 tie with Paraguay or Sweden thats it.

I have to support them. Jamaica did not qualify this year and Trinidad and Tobago was the only country from the Caribbean region that did. So I have to give them some love. Go Calypso Boys

And dont forget us Jamaicans were laughed at when we entered the The Winter Olympics with our bobsled team. But we beat the US and other countries ( for shame! ) to place in the top 15. I think we came 13th or something like that. Imagine that, tsk, tsk, and we have no ice nor snow. haha

So with underdogs, you never now..........
