Chris Shinn v Matt Skiba Options

Last night I saw Blink 182 with Matt Skiba and was shocked by how receptive the crowd was to the new singer. Chants of "Skiba! Skiba!" rang all night long. It was as if the original member of the band was back, not the opposite.

Any theories as to why Blink 182 with Skiba went over so well with the fans whereas replacing Ed with Chris was extremely mixed?

Chris Shinn is much better that Ed of 2000s and he definitely not even close to Ed of 1990s.

Live made a very good album with Chris which I think is the last one. I do not expect another album with Chris because it flopped big time. It flopped because Live chose a cheap indy approach and decided to release one of the two weak songs off the album as the lead single. I predict that the next Live album (if ever happens) will be with Ed.

TWAIT was the most favorited song on the Poll we had for the album on these forums, I was shocked cause it's not nearly my favorite.

How could Live take a non-indy approach? It's not like anyone can just walk into the Clear Channel and ask them to include your single in the 10-15 songs they play on the radio all day.
