Well I watched a couple of these videos. It is not to start any war in here. We have videos of the Live and Ed K. performing in the same venue in a one week span.

Everything was said before, but it's still true. The similar voice with a cover backup band or the same sound with a cover singer. Well Shinn does cover live wongs, but he sings also the ones in which he collaborates, and very good songs.

Ed sings way better than he was a couple of years ago, but still missing the angst in his voice. But I can enjoy some of these performances, more the quieter songs.

On TDAOC, I can't stand the guitar until it goes louder. Really sounds like a bad keyboard or something. Same with the way the chords flow in the loud parts of White, discussion. These are examples why I still give the edge to CCP for the rendition of the old songs, because the real vibe of the musicians plus the angst kind of voice from Chris Shinn make a better fit for the songs. Plus the new Live record is a solid rock album compared to the christian/pop/rock from Ed. So nothing new, but these performances show it again.
