I was just thinking, Ed should cover songs from The Turn in concert (after the "20" year anniversary of TC tour winds down, sometime in 2017 or so).

It would be cool if he performed an acoustic version of TWAIT. He's covered other songs on tour, and Chris is covering his songs, so why not. I think he could do a killer version of that track.

Most of this song is in the perfect register for him.. I can hear his voice singing these lyrics: "The glare off the sign is blinding. And there’s no way around it, It’s mine. Believe tonight we’ll see the truth. The only way around is through. Believe tonight we’ll see the truth. The only way around is through."

As much as I don't like what Ed is doing these days, every time when I listen to previous Live albums (to me it's everything apart from SFBM and BOP) I still think what a bad motherfucker he was. And as much as I don't like him these days, i still think that he was/is one of the best vocalists out there. That man just had such a distinctive and crazy voice - you knew for definite it was Live when u heard it. Yes, it is cool that Live has continued and that Chris came on board, but Chris is no Ed. Take Michael Stipe away from REM and it won't be REM anymore, take Thom Yorke away from Radiohead and it is no longer Radiohead - the list can be continued. Big respect to the guys of Live for continuing to do what they enjoy the most - music, but to me, personally, this is an updated version of Live which does not stand anywhere close to what Live once was. As for Ed, I do hope that one day maybe he will release a good piece of music, but, unfortunately, this day has yet to arrive.

Peace.
