Live's The Turn on the Charts Options

Live's new album "The Turn" debuted at #133 on the Billboard 200 album chart in the US.

Thanks for proving what we've all be saying, it's been on a steady decline since TDTH and all value of the brand diminished. What did you truly expect of a new Live album? After the garbage that's been put out starting with V?

Thanks for proving what we've all be saying, it's been on a steady decline since TDTH and all value of the brand diminished. What did you truly expect of a new Live album? After the garbage that's been put out starting with V?

The decline started in the 2000's, but I thought CCP were supposed to right the ship with Ed gone. They would bring Live back to the music of their 90's heyday. Instead they created Live's lowest charting album by a mile.

So you don't see anyone else slamming Ed for not promoting his record and poo pooing all this chart nonsense.

What grudge do you hold against these men? Did they harm you personally? It's an honest question.

If you're not with following Live with Chris Shinn, and it seems many are invigorated by the change, be a man and leave for other pastures and spend your energies on something more constructive to society.

....Or discuss Ed with good intentions in his area. I have seen what's gone on here by looking around. Interesting that a LIVE board allows all this slamming of the band which is currently CCCP. Weird for sure.

And for what it's worth some people may want to know, i see a comment that The Turn didn't make some charts....by this same person who's steering the conversation to what it appears to be an angst ridden agenda.

I think that statement was made with the interest of trolling without checking facts.

In fact, i see it made 5 of the Billboard charts in the first week including the Indy Albums which LIVE is released as.

I don't begrudge them making music, or touring. I just don't think they should do it as Live. Especially since they are basically killing the Live brand that they built with Ed by doing so.

#133 on Billboard for a Live album is horrible. Not selling out an under 500 venue in NYC is terrible for Live, especially on the week of their album release. Live without Ed, is not a Live most people want to see. It is as simple as that.

On Billboard's website, it only goes up to #25 on indie, that is why I didn't see The Turn at 29.
