I personally think men can work out problems. Hell, there are plenty of people on these boards that despise me and have said awful things about me. But if I saw any one of them at a show, I would have no problem shaking their hand and moving on.

Grudges and petty feuds are silly things to keep up. Ed and CCP are strongest together. Taking a break made sense, what happened after was embarrassing and should be corrected.

It is a bit different when it comes to longtime friends and band mates than whether you and I met at a show.

Writing music is such a personal and emotional thing, and above all that these guys were childhood friends. There are deep ties between them. Something went terribly wrong. No matter who you want to say was at fault, it is going to take them a lot longer to work out their problems, if they ever will. That is fine with me, like was stated above, it makes them human.

What I don't get is why doing big shows and album sales would matter to the likes of any fan. Sure we want our favorite bands to be successful, but it has no impact on the music.

On top of that, the people in the Ed camp are getting exactly what they wanted from him, are they not? He is writing the type of songs you guys seem to love. So why would you care who he plays with? And that is fine. They have two different styles that are not going to meet again anytime in the near future, if ever. Let's all move on.
