Looks like the new logo is a representation of how the band perceives their old lead singer who turned on them. Love it.

It could mean many things in parallel. However, i do not understand what they are achieving by pointing at Ed. To me it means what the cover of album means where three arrows point to the right and the last one to the left. Above the last one there is sunshine. I interpret this as the last three albums (namely V, BoP, and SFBM) which constituted a dramatic turn away from Live. The fourth album (The Turn), however, turns back to Live.
