From what I understand, limited to 1000 copies, so I would have thought it was pretty sought after.....yet I got a copy on eBay for $3, which includes shipping. Maybe not as rare as I thought?

I'm pretty sure 1,000 is correct. These don't pop up for sale that often, but for some reason when they do, the price is cheap. I got mine for cheap too, although its a little noisy.

Mine's a lot noisy too. I was going to rip it to FLAC - I need one of those programs to remove the pops and clicks. sad.gif

Throughout the 90's and mid-2000's I used be be on eBay on a daily basis. I had multiple searches emailed to me and was bidding on items on a constant basis. There were multiple collectors bidding against each other which drove the price up.

These days I don't check eBay that often (because basically I've got most of the Live stuff I need). Weeks could go by that I don't check and I think it's like that for many collectors. So it's not out of the ordinary that a rare item like the 1996 FOL Holiday Gift could go for such a low value.

Plus, it's pretty hard to find Live stuff on eBay - you have to do a specific search, since "Live" is a pretty common word.

I'm like you....I've basically completed my Live collection, unless there's something else out there I don't know about. My wish list includes the PLOTR promo with the rare remixes (I already have it but don't have the artwork), two FMNBLE CD-Rs, and a few FOL Holiday gifts (1997-1999, 2006). Swami sold me the Radioactive comp with "Born Branded" on it - that was basically the last big thing I was looking for.
