I swear I wanted to give him a chance....I liked the Iris version from the rehearsals, but he really lost the edge, the raw of what made him a rock singer. It's fine, TFATM is an Ok album for what he does now as solo artist. His musicians should have worked better on tones. Lightning Crashes is horrible in that matter. Drum is terrible in that song also.

He should have give it all in only one show instead of touring it. Sometimes he shows glimpses of how good he can sing ( and still be at times), but as a performer well it looks partially fake, tribute to himself. Wish him the best and will always gie him a chance on a record.

I couldn't disagree more than that i'm glad he did a tour and I think it really was amazing he gave it everything in melbourne on sat night and really looked like he was absolutely enjoying himself!

The new guitarist is fantastic and some of the songs like stage totally rocked out!

The distortion / wah wah effect is a deliberate mix up of the guitar in LC as far as I can tell.....

I also found myself wishing seven was more like the live version, strong strings and the chorus of that song was much much better in concert - it had more growl to it (the album version sounds more high pitched whining to me).
