I watched some of the latest setlists.

It looked like:

All Over You
The Distance
The Great Beyond
The Dolphins Cry
Angels On A Razor
Selling The Drama
Seven
Pain Lies On The Riverside
I'm on fire
Pillar Of Davidson
Heaven
I Alone

Encores
Overcome
Run To The Water
The One
Lightning Crashes

So Ed now has 2 solo albums (because he felt he was in a whole new chapter), and plays 1 + 3 = 4 songs from them, and the rest... STILL PLAYING LIVE SONGS. Damn... you can play a whole (long) setlist with all the songs you wrote as a solo artist, but no...

It's really unbelievable. Recording new songs to sell, but still playing the old songs and hits that he knows people come for, from a band he WANTED TO GET OUT OF. Weak.

Ed told many times after breaking up with Live he wanted a change musically, for years he didn't even name the guys when talking about Live, remember. It was about the music (ofcourse another lie, we know).
I didn't know about the setlist you mentioned. But I find it very, very normal for LIVE to play LIVE-songs. On which Ed contributed, but they only seem to play songs they created together and are all credited for and still proud of. Ed sings songs (and focus on these songs in concert) from a band he used to contribute to (ofcourse, nobody denies), but the same band he didn't want to be part of anymore. I think that's quite a difference.

Nope, not a lie. It was about the MUSIC...music HE wanted to play. Get it right. The only lie in all of this was the one they ALL created by staying together unhappy with everything that was going on and confusing fans with all their petty bullshit. And sorry but yeah, he has started playing a lot of the new songs slowly to see how fans like them. So also, get your facts first.

Ed Kowalczyk's new album "The Flood and The Mercy" has debuted at #18 on the Netherlands album charts in its first week of release. The tour in Europe thus far has been a resounding success with sold out and capacity shows in every city.

So, where's that new Live.2 album again?

#18 is really NOTHING compared to the success he had with LIVE here in Holland. Also, you take a country that he's had the most success in over all years. So that doesn't say anything for me (yet)

That's the difference. Creating 2 albums in 3 years doesn't make someone more successful than all the other remaining LIVE members that actually care about LIVE and its fans.
They come out with new work when it's done. Even if it would take 10 years, whatever. It means more to LIVE fans then creating 2 albums in 3 years and sing old songs in concert from a band you can't be part of anymore. Weak.
