Live confirmed on Summerland Tour, Dates announced Options

Summerland Tour 2013 Alternative Guitars featuring : Everclear, Live, Filter, and Sponge. Will be playing Innsbrook Pavillion. I called this a few weeks ago....I'm good.

Im not a Sugar Ray fan at all, but what happened with Art and Mark? What caused the falling out? Either way, Im just happy to see LIVE get some tour dates out there. Album ready, or not.

wish GGD would play more material from 1995 and prior, Id go see them more. Their recent material is pretty weak. m20 always bored me to death -- so I'll be skipping that tour.

I just think Art is basically just impossible to work with. The changeover in Everclear bandmembers is constant and the guy has been married about 4 times. By splitting the tour into 2, they just watered down the concept.

There is also another 90's tour for the summer(Barenaked Ladies, Ben Folds Five, and Guster).

Live is hitting the road without frontman Ed Kowalczyk, and Art Alexakis is the only member of Everclear remaining from the classic lineup. Filter still has original singer Richard Patrick, but the rest of the group members joined in the past couple of years. Sponge singer Vinnie Dombroski is still at the helm, but the rest of the group joined in the 2000s.

Pretty weak!

BTW - based on your comment you would also have to claim that Ed, playing mostly Live material and touring with all new members, would also classify as pretty weak. And don't hide behind the "he's not Live" BS because he's been touring as "of Live" and now "formerly of Live" since he departed.

Ed never toured solo as Live. It is a huge difference.

Why anyone has to put up with this negativity and sarcasm in a discussion about a new Live tour on a Live fan board is beyond me.

Getting back to the point - why you go out of your way to search for negatives to immediately rip everything Live does is childish.
