Awesome show and crowd. Some notes:

-Demand was so high for tickets that Ed is likely to do a 2-3 show residency at the venue next year.
-Ed will likely take the month of April to finish his album
-Garden EP was for sale at the venue
-Ed will tour this summer(some festivals and spot shows in the US)
-Ed will do a full tour of Europe in September(should be announced soon)
-Album is still on target for late summer release.

Setlist possibly incomplete and out of order:

All Over You
Beauty of Grey
The Great Beyond
All That I Wanted
The Distance(with guest guitarist)
Zion(with guest guitarist)
Angels on a Razor
The Dolphin's Cry
Seven
Pain Lies on the Riverside
The Garden
Pillar of Davidson
Heaven/With or Without You
I Alone

Encore

Overcome (with guest pianist)
Drink
Lightning Crashes

So all of this success and he can only perform 6 out of 17 songs from his solo career?

I wouldn't call that doing well - it's just Ed milking his old life for all he can get.

If this new album fails, Ed is screwed and going by his latest EP he's already got the screwdriver in his hand.

Love the positivity!

Anyways, here are my thoughts on the concert:

Firstly of all, love City Winery, try to go there as often as possible. Third time I've seen Ed there and this was the best show of the three. His voice sounded very good, although he can't reach the high notes as well as he used to. His lower register is as sharp as ever. All the Live classics were great, and love how he threw Beauty of Grey in there. The new songs are obviously nothing compared to older Live songs, but are MUCH improved from almost all of the songs from Alive. Angels on a Razor, Seven, and All that I wanted are more dynamic than his previous solo stuff and a step in the right direction.
