the recording was good enough to hear that Lakini's doesn't receive justice.

I would also prefer that he sticks to acoustic gigs.

I thought it was fine for a youtube clip. The reaction the song received at the show was off the charts positive, and it is the reason the song was played. I've heard Ed play Lakini's Juice with the new band in concert, and it always goes over well.

Just like many fans will find Live with Chris Shinn terrible. It is all opinion, but both groups can continue on and do well(if they work at it).
